The weather on Friday was very blustery and high 30mph winds, just what you need for our first competition, but the forecast came good and although we have a short shower the 15 mph wind was almost straight down the runway for the first round. By the second and third rounds it had move to blow at about 20 degrees in from the left with some variation in strength and turbulence.

A super first competition of the year with close and ‘friendly’ rivalry in Advanced and FAI with Matt and Steve finishing just half a point apart.
