Aileron differential.

Just wondering who is using aileron differential. I have been experimenting with it but am keen to know who else is using it and what sort of percentage you have dialed in.

I always check for aileron unbalance (as per the Association's trimming sheet).  I have had to use it sometimes to cure a slight imbalance.  As far as I can remember, it was around 5 % but use as much as needed is my motto.  Same as tweaking incidence and CG position.  I always start from a known position and then tweak as necessary.  I rarely measure the end result - perhaps I should!

As always, double check the alignment of everything else to try and avoid trimming out an issue that is caused
by something else and so masking the underlying issue. Less likely, I would have thought when it comes to
aileron diff. but perhaps it may reduce the amount required.

Do you think you need equal amounts for both right and left rolls?

Very interesting Mike. I had not seen that trimming chart before.
