UKCAA's first Fly-in of 2017
« on: 05, April 2017, 02:18:31 PM »
The first fly-in of the season was held on Sunday last at Skegness, and what a turnout! 18 fliers, numerous helpers and a whopping 42 classic aerobatic models at the photo-shoot, I think most or all of them actually flew as well. Link to the thread on "modelflying dot co dot uk":

Many photos and some comment to go along with them. A great day had by all, and I must give a huge vote of thanks to Martyn K and everyone else involved in planning & running the day.
Also, Well done to the many fliers who attempted an informal contest flight under guidance from Brian Ball while I assisted & scribed.
Models were from the 60's to early 80's, all with various power sources ranging from old Merco, to OS VF's & RF's, to electric & modern 2 & 4-strokes.
Great day out!

Bill
