Sporting Code Update
« on: 22, July 2017, 08:17:33 AM »
Effective from the 1st June, there has been a small addition to the Sporting Code to clarify how to judge roll combinations when the manoeuvre description does not state roll direction:

If, in the manoeuvre description of a roll combination, the roll direction is not specified, then the rolls must go in the same direction.

For those interested in F3M:

F3M sequences will be changed every year. They will be published on the CIAM website as soon as they are available. They will no longer be published in this volume.

The 2016 edition has a mis-match which has been corrected as below:

Corrected headline of manoeuvre P-19.08 to match the manoeuvre description and Aresti.

cheers

Hi,
The above SC 'explanation' is exactly the reason I re-write my own manoeuvre score sheet/calling card at the start of a new schedule.
Its probably too easy for them to just state 'opposite' or 'same' - which is what I do. That reduces mistakes when flying/judging.
