Wanted : Airframe 50\70 size Kyosho, Flaire, Sebart etc
« on: 19, June 2017, 12:34:28 AM »

Evening All

I already have a flying 2M but due to club restrictions I find our flight window very restrictive, add to that It looks bigger than it actually is anyway and I constantly get asked about no fly zones etc

With that in mind I'm looking for a smaller airframe

I've always fancied a Kyosho, either oxalis or osmose, senate angel or mythos, open to options

Haven't got a massive budget which is why I'd prefer airframe only but let's see what's out there

Thanks
Ian

Hello.
Try a Nuance 70. I think this is the best 6 cell electric model I have flown. Easy to build and set up too.

Yes,  looks great - I was looking at one on Saturday at WestonPark - bondaero

Sadly I'm not sure I've seen one in the used market yet though

Hi Ian

It would be good to compete with your 2m model. You could always get some practice in and enter our Clubman contest at our Championships and win a suitable model.

May not be very helpful I know, but I am trying!

I have one of the bond aero 70 sized Bi-side biplanes which i have decided to sell on as its not used as much as i would have envisaged...these are quality pieces of kit !...
i have the correct servos and esc mated to the proper motor blah blah ...in short no expense spared in the build and in perfect condition..wings bags etc etc.

the models at this size do make a very useful alternative for practice without the need for a massive airframe all the time and being light they replicate the performance acceptably..

I have a number of packs to suit as well and prepared to haggle a bit on price to make space in the hanger...

call me to discuss

Have a look at the Steve Webb website. He has a World Models Spot On 50. It is for either glow or electric power and has plug in wings for easy storage and transportation. It costs just under £200 which is about what your going to have go pay for a second hand model.

Hi All,

Thanks for all the input and lots to consider.

Noted Ashley,   Just difficult to practice with our no fly zones so to practice prior to comp Id need something that fits our window better.
