Time flies so it will not be long before we are meeting for this first completion of the season, so let's make it a good one.

Early entries very welcome, late entries may be accepted, but it would be good to know who is thinking about entering.

We need at least 11 pilots to make the competition run with pilot judging and a few more would be very welcome.

Ashley

Thank you Kevin

I believe there are two more pilots expecting to enter this competition, but we require at least another three FAI Pilots to allow this competition to run smoothly with two FAI pilots judging.

Please let me know in the next two days if you are able to join us so I can make a final decision on Wednesday 28th whether we should cancel.

Great first comp of the season.

Thanks to Ashley for running it, Peter Cappleman for being our resident full time judge, John Morton for helping set up / pack up and all those who entered, judged, scribed.

Congratulation to Dan for winning the first P19 comp with his new home build - one to watch this season!

Until next time .....

Ashley, thanks for pulling everything together yesterday.
I had a great day and witnessed some excellent flying, as always I picked up more tips and advice.

Congratulations to Dan who flew beautifully with the first outing of his own design/build model.

A great opener to the 2018 season.

I hope you all had a safe journey home.

Thank you all for your cooperation to make this a really good day.

I will complete the upload to the photo gallery as soon as but I have other things that must come first (Team admin and BMFA News) so I will post here when the photo gallery is completed.

I failed at the competition to thank Steve for scoring and taking photographs.  Steve just makes it all happen and I only really know he is there when I see his name above mine in the rankings. :D

I have attached the results below.

Thank you again.

Ashley

Really missed you Matt, but pleased you were looking after my Grandson!

...and thank you all for making me very welcome...whilst I knew beforehand that I was a long way from competing effectively, it was a great opportunity to receive much advice and coaching...now next time (Hurley) I hope to show some improvement (not difficult with the horrendous scores I received).  Despite that, it was the first time I had flown through the whole schedule, and I regard that as an achievement in itself.  Thanks again Matt.
