The 1st centralised will be held at the LMAC on Saturday 17th April 2010.

All entries to Alison Harrop, entry limited to the first 20 pilots who process their entry forms and payment, once this has been received I will update the forum to reflect the completed entries. Any entries received after filling the first 20 spaces will be placed on a reserve list.

For those who have attended our site before, welcome back and for those about to make their first trip to the sunny midlands, welcome!

Directions to the site can be found in the members area, if you struggle to locate them just post back here and I'll post the link.

Pilots briefing will be at 8.30am prompt. The site will be accessable from 7am. Flying will start at 9am prompt. I aim to fly as many rounds as possible.

Judges required please.

Simples.........................

Regards,

Andy.

Sorry Keith I'm afraid not, maybe a call to Alison might shed a little more light.

Hi Andy,

I've just put my entries together and sent them to Alison. Since the dates haven't been published and noting the first come first served basis for acceptance, I've just put TBA on the dates and venues for the other three Centralised events. I've also ticked the "Confirm entry on Forum" box and hence haven't sent SAE's with my entries.

Hope this is ok

Andy

When you say you will be flying as many rounds as possible I thought it was 2 P and 1 F at centralised.  If this is not the case what is the situ?

Will there be a fly for fun unknown at the end or what?

Brandon, the competition will be 3 rounds, 2 P and 1 F.  Flying after the competition will be at the discretion of LMAC.

I notice that I am not registered as confirmed. I can confirm that Alison has entries from mefor all butthe 4th Centralised.

Brian, As Team entries have priority at centralised events none team entries only become confirmed 7 days before the competition.  Alison has your entry and cheque for the first centralised and not withstanding a sudden influx of 'team' entries you will be flying.

I believe Alison will have my entry.
Adrian

Adrian, What have you entered?

Regards,

Matt

Just like to say how much I enjoyed this competition. Thank you Andy, superb organisation.

FAI rules applied to competitors flying for a team place, which worked really well.

Competitors flying 'P only' enjoyed a normal domestic competition and we were disappointed that there were only three members taking advantage of this super venue and conditions.  There would have been places for 6 or so competitors flying their own schedules to join the three fliers who were flying.

I will post here when the photos have been placed on the photogallery.

Ashley.

PS  If anyone would like to e-mail me to say why no one entered to fly other schedules at this event so we can investigate any perceived problems I would be grateful. I hope all members will consider flying at the next Centralised at Barkston even though places will be restricted for those not flying for a team place. Forum notice will be posted shortly.

PPS Thank you Brian for helping me with the timing.

I completely agree; the facilities and strip were excellent, the whole comp well run, and it was on a Saturday! I think we should have more comps on a Saturday; it really gives you time to wind down after the event - I never even saw my aeroplane yesterday!

Thanks Andy for a great event; now to work on those zeros!
