Our website will soon be moving to a new hosting company which we hope will provide a more reliable service than the present host.
Until the time when the transfer takes place, I shall keep daily backups of the forum but I may be unable to backup just before the actual transfer. Therefore, if you have an important message to post, I suggest you keep a copy in case it gets lost during the transfer.
Some downtime is to be expected when the transfer takes place.
I'll post again when the transfer is complete and everything is working.

UPDATE 11-Jan-2012:It took longer than I anticipated but here we are on the new server. Fingers crossed it's more reliable than the last one!
Work was completed early on Wednesday 11th Jan but later in the evening, Matt found an error where all text after a £ symbol in a post was deleted - well spotted Matt. There was no way of getting the lost text back again so I had to restore the previous backup loosing Wednesdays posts - very sorry about that.
It's still early days yet - there have been lots of changes: updated forum software followed by the move to the new host. There could still be problems issues challenges 
lurking around here. If you see something that doesn't look right, then please let me know so I can try fixing it.
