Thanks for persevering with the table Ashley.  It is wonderful to have something like that readily available.  Let's hope we don't have to wait as long as we have had to at Wimbledon for a GB world champion to appear on one of those cups!

It is only 52 years or so since our world champion appeard on the cup so you still have something like 25 years to practice and make history before that record is broken.
 
If anyone can fill in the question marks in the list I would be very greteful and it may reveal a GBR team position has been missed somewhere along the line.

Two things are very striking to me:
1 the number of time Wolfgang Matt appears since 1971 i.e. 43 years!
2 the fact that from and including 1992 no one outside France or Liechtenstein has won the European Championships (one pilot from France, three from Liechtenstein).  That is 12 European Championships in a row.
