Managed three flights today on the old (but little) used Oxalys.  Two batteries last used on 15 March 2014 and one on 10 August 2013.  I'm not getting enough use from them!!

On a separate point I need a new battery fro my Tx - MZ14.  I think someone once said that rather than buy a Futaba levelled battery some cameras use the same battery and it is a lot cheaper from the camera shop.  If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great.  Thanks

The batterys are for sony np-f570 camcorders that fit,7.2v li-ion 2200mah.
Worked fine in my 12z.

Hello Brandon, I've used non oem batteries for about 7 years now without any problems whatsoever. In my experience they last just as long and sometimes longer than the original before starting to lose capacity. I get mine from online shops and currently have 6 of them. 2 to 3 years lifespan seems the average, depending how often you fly I suppose. They fit numerous Sony camcorders, sample below.
