Hi All

Thank you very much for the warm welcome, I'm new to aerobatics but everyone so far has been really kind and helpful. I would especially like to thank Adrian from Bondaero for supplying and building my AJ Accuity. Peter Jenkins for his help and excellent advice and also for flying my Accuity for the first time. After a few tweeks and some great help from Al Williams I was able to fly it myself for the very first time. It's a totally different way of flying and I'm throughly enjoying it. I hope I can progress from this and one day enter competitions.

Kind Regards
David Blake

Hi  david
Try to visit the champs at Buckminster on th19/20. You will enjoy it and learn loads. I am going on the Saturday, though not competing. If you are lucky you can help with scribing. Best job in the world!
Al

Can we welcome 4 new members to the GBRCAA who have joined the association following the highly successful F3A competition held at the Bury MFC last week, CD'd by our own Peter Jenkins, and i'm reliably informed that there could be a couple more still to come!

Well done Peter ........ must have been that BBQ you and the team put on during the day  ;)

Hi David and Ronald
welcome to the GBRCAA as a relative newbie myself and in my second year I can assure you that you have started something that will have you thinking f3a at every quiet moment. it sounds like you have the right model and good advice already some of the other new gbrcaa members are clubmates of mine and have all just had their first go at bury. all had a great time and all are going to Warboys on at end of July, why don't you come along and enter clubman your only flying against the score sheet and who knows you may get a surprise at how well you do  and more importantly you will learn so much (I know I did and still am) hope you can come have a go you wont regret it.

Regards

Thank you for the welcome gents. If there’s still space in clubman I might try to get to Warboys. Have pm’d Clive to check.
My Axiome trim state has improved following tips picked up at Bury. Thanks Chris.
Lot of trimming to go yet though! And learning to fly straight!!

Let's hope they can squeak you in would be good to see you at warboys. Model trimming is an art form and not a quick thing but keep at it your flying will improve almost as quick as your model trim
