Further to Garry's announcement elsewhere on the forum, the committee decided yesterday that the World Cup competition at Ashford will not be held this year.


This follows the decision of the CIAM to cancel all World Cup competitions this year. We had the option of keeping the event as an Open International, but with no clear timetable for lifting of the current restrictions on movement across most competitors' countries, we could not be certain of the viability of the event.


As for our other events, entry fees will be refunded.


We can at least all look forward to the 2021 event.

Following the decision taken to cancel the 2020 UK World Cup refunds have now been processed through PayPal.

For those who paid in Euro's, PayPal is expecting the eCheque Clearing Date to be between 4th May 2020 - 9th May 2020. Regards, GBRCAA
