Many of you will remember John Palmer and Steve Elias flying F3A back in the day, John capturing my imagination
with a white 60 powered Capricorn at Northwick Park when I was a teenager.

I particularly remember Steve driving round the flight lines in a rather nice Lotus back in the day. I didn't dare speak to him back then though.

Hi Mike,
Read this article, took me half a day to find the February issue to read part one as well!
Always interesting to read how these top people progressed through the hobby.
I started at the same time, but didn't follow the same path!
I only now learning the exciting art of flying in straight lines.
