The Clubman class is an entry level schedule which can be flown with almost any model that will do a loop and a roll. It is a schedule that is aimed at the club flyer and will allow you to enter competitions and get the feel of the proceedings.
There is an advisory promotion score of 60% as shown on the Calling Cards. This helps to give an idea of the standard needed to move up. However, you do not have to change schedule if you feel you would prefer to stay flying your current one. Conversely, you are also more than welcome to enter any schedule, if you feel it is more suitable to you capabilities.
All pilots should also be familiar with the judging criteria for landing and taking off.
The analysis sheet allows you to input your competition scores & highlight where most points are being lost. All boxes start with 10 so that if less than 4 rounds are being flown, the final ‘Biggest loss ranking’ will be correct. Hopefully this helps to highlight where practice will pay off the most! The spreadsheet is also quick & easy to fill in (using a mobile etc.) at competitions, to quickly check the addition on the score sheets too.
