Stefan Mandl (GER) was flying a Wind S Pro as well - looks like this is going to be a popular choice of model!
Jean Michel Yeguiayan came very well prepared with 3 Xigris models...2 x C1's and 1 x C2 (swept wing)
....and now for something completely different! Peter Haase's 'Progress' features contra-rotating prop, twin fins, oh and some small vertical wings!
Other than the undercarriage and the canopy decal the design is completely symmetrical.
The vertical wings and vertical tailfins are all moving. All control surfaces are directly driven from the servo arm by a pin in the root of the control surface (i.e. no connecting pushrods)
The beautifully built and finished Jupiter of Bruno Schiffler (GER). This model was light and powered by 8 cells instead of the usual 10.
Jozef Lenaerts (BEL) Flexpin. The canaliser looks like it means business!
A general view of the pit area. The flags in the background give a good indication of the 90 degree crosswind blowing in for the entire weekend.
Foreground: Cedric Carayon (FRA), Oxai Axiome Background: Richard Christopher (GBR), Comp-ARF Integral
Kevin Caton's Twister bathing in the Belgian sunshine
Benoit Paysant Le Roux chatting to Ram Zahavi (who came all the way from Israel to compete).
Foreground: Antti Aho-Mantila's Addiction Background: Lassi Nurila's Wind S Pro
