Thank you to Manny and Andy who always give us a warm welcome to Buckminster for our Introduction to Aerobatics days.

Thanks go to John Morton again for giving up his day to help, but secretly I think wanted to start practicing the Intermediate schedule after his success in Clubman last year, seriously though, it would not have been the same with out John being there.

*We set up in the workshop this time to make it a bit more cosy with three pilots attending, Tony and Barry returning for the second and third times respectively and for Paul a first for a taste of what was on offer. Paul flew a Curare and a Bullet both using IC.

We started around 10am with a bit of model setup in the events centre and then spent most of the day outside. It was cold with a 10/12 mph wind blowing slightly out from the left but all pilots getting more fights than they expected under supervision.

There is a promise that we may see Barry at our first competition at Skelbrooke next year in April.

I think everyone got what they wanted from the day even if the conditions were not ideal. Thank you from me to everyone for joining in and making it such an enjoyable day.
