With an excellent entry of 27 pilots at the GBR/CAA Nationals at BMFA Buckminster, two rounds were flown on the Saturday and two rounds again on the Sunday, naturally with social distancing measures in place.
Saturday’s conditions were particularly challenging with a very strong north-easterly wind gusting over 25mph. It was great to see how well pilots in all classes coped with these difficult conditions.
Sunday’s weather was more favourable but still with a fresh breeze again from the north-east. CD Garry Peacock and Eugene Anker kept the competition moving in their usual relaxed manner.
