The competition started on Saturday morning with the pilot briefing and 18 pilots competing across all five classes.

Wind had picked up from Friday's practice flights, blowing out, with flying from left to right. The weather was better than forecast, with only a few light showers, but overall the conditions were good.

All three rounds could be flown on the Saturday, and the two Unknown schedules were handed out to the P, F and Unknown pilots.

Sunday started off with nicer conditions. A very light wind was blowing out, with flying now from right to left. A rain shower stopped flying briefly mid-afternoon, but the competition could be re-commenced without too much of a break, and again all three rounds could be flown on the Sunday.

A special thanks to Leslaw, Stuart Mellor and Al Williams for judging, to all the pilot judges who helped throughout the weekend, Tom for helping with the scoring system, and to Garry and his helpers for CD'ing the competition. Congratulations to all the winners!
