Pilots started to arrive on the Friday evening to get some flights in on the line at Phoenix MFC.

Saturday greeted everyone with a beautiful blue morning and low winds.

First flight was underway bang on time.

Team selection pilots flew P21, F21 and Unknown schedules in that order on each day,
the Unknown schedule only being posted the evening before.

Sunday was a little more cloudy with a little mistiness early on.

Unknown schedules were very demanding on both the pilot, caller and the batteries.
With so much knife edge, one pilot landed with near three percent left.

The standard was very high and in the P21 competition one could see pilots had made
significant improvement over the season.

Thanks to Phoenix Model Flying Club for the use of their field and facilities for two days;
a superbly maintained grass field with excellent facilities.

Special thanks to our judges Nico Bleas, Chris Halgreen, Leslaw Przytocki and Andy Shutt, who
worked extremely hard for two days, taking on the Unknowns in their stride.

Thanks to Adrian Harrison for organising the competition and to Phil Lewis for his dedication to ensuring
the Nautomatic wireless scoring system ran smoothly.

Thanks to Javad for his initiative in approaching the club and requesting its use for our competition and acting as liaison throughout the preparations
and during the event, plus organising the Saturday evening meal for the pilots and judges.
